How should I store my printer food?

Printer food is best stored in a cool, dry place out of the sun. Printer food is 'hygroscopic', which means it it will absorb water from the air. Food that has been exposed to high humidity may not print as well and can become brittle.

If you live somewhere with high humidity or are looking for good storage methods, here are a few popular ones:

1. Simple ziplock bags closed tight.

2. Vacuum seal bags

3. Storage boxes with sealed lids

4. Adding silica gel packets to any of the above will also help absorb moisture before your printer food can!

Printer food will last longer if it's sealed - if you're not planning on using a color right away, it may be best to hold off on opening it until you're ready to use it!
