Disclaimer: no information on this page counts as legal advice. This page serves as a guideline to help navigate what the different licenses are and what they mean for you as the builder.
All Rights Reserved: By using the Toybox printer and software, you're allowed to print any toy on the platform for your personal use. Toys that are licensed "All Rights Reserved" mean that the licensing party ultimately owns the design and can say what can and can't be done with the print. In most instances, this means you are allowed to print and use the toy, but are not allowed to make a profit off of the print. Toybox allows small scale selling of prints such as to classmates or friends and family, but if you want to sell commercially you should reach out to us first. For digital content, such as the print files themselves, those belong exclusively to the license holder and cannot be distributed in any format regardless of design changes.
Creative Commons: You'll see this represented by a circle with two "c"s inside. There are many variations of the creative commons license, and by tapping the icon you'll be taken directly to the page that outlines the terms of that license. In most instances, you are required to provide attribution to the original creator of the design, but you are otherwise allowed to use these designs as you see fit. You can read more about Creative Commons licenses here.
Selling prints that you've designed: As long as the print is your unique design and does not infringe on copyright as outlined above, then you're safe to make and sell whatever toys you want! Keep in mind though that designs that look like property of another copyright holder can in fact be considered copyright infringement.
