Manifold is a 3D design term that describes whether your model is an object that could be recreated in the real world. If it's not manifold, that most often means that there is a hole in your model somewhere. Imagine if you had a balloon animal...if there was a hole, it would deflate and look nothing like what you wanted it to! Luckily, we have some tools to fix a manifold issue.
If you have just a few small holes, we can easily find those and fix them, just like you could add some tape to a balloon animal and it would be good as new. As the size and number of holes increase, it gets harder to correct. Imagine if you were just handed a few torn up pieces of a balloon. It would be really hard to figure out how to make it into an animal again and you might accidentally attach it's nose to it's leg! So, if you have a non-manifold model, most of the time Toybox should be able to print it well, but there's a chance you may need to redesign it completely.
If you're having trouble with a specific print, send it over to support@toybox.com and we'll take a look!
