  1. On your phone or tablet, go into "Settings" and then "Personal Hotspot." Turn the hotspot on your phone on. If there's an option to choose between a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz hotspot, choose 2.4 GHz. Some devices also have "Maximize Compatibility" to ensure it's emitting a 2.4 GHz signal, so toggle that on if that's the case.
  2. Plug in the printer.
  3. On a different device (different phone/tablet/computer), go into "Settings" and then "WiFi". Again, make sure you're using a separate device than the device with the active hot spot.
  4. You'll see a list of networks available. Select the Toybox network. The Toybox network will looking something like "Toybox FA8B4".
  5. It will take you to a blue/green page with a list of networks. Select the hotspot WiFi and enter your hotspot password. This screen will close automatically and the printer should be connected to the hotspot.
  6. On the Toybox LCD, a 6 digit code will appear if the Toybox is connected to the hotspot.
  7. Enter this code in your Toybox account under "my Toybox" and then "add". The printer should connect to the account after that.
