If you're not seeing your home/preferred WiFi network on the list of available networks the blue/green captive portal, try these steps below.
- If you haven't already, click "refresh" in the top right of the blue/green pop up.
- Try connecting using a different device (a different phone, tablet, or computer than you're already using).
- Try closing out the blue/green screen and double check your home WiFi is showing in your device's network drop down list. Then unplug the printer and plug it back in and try connecting again.
- Double check the printer is within 20 feet with a direct line of sight to the router.
- Your network must be on a 2.4 GHz frequency. If you have a 5 GHz network, double check you're attempting to connect to the 2.4 GHz.
*If you have a dual-band router, it may help to isolate the 2.4GHz frequency, as any interference from a 5GHz frequency may impact the printer's ability to connect to your network - Make sure your WiFi router does not have a static IP address (by default, your router will not have this setting.
- Try connecting to a mobile hotspot. If you're able to connect using your data hotspot but not your home network, then there may be a compromised interaction between the printer and the home network.
